Frankfurt (16 July 2021) – MV Index Solutions (MVIS®) announced the licensing of the MVIS Global Video Gaming & eSports Index (ticker: MVESPO) to FinEx ETFs, an investment management company that offers a full spectrum of investment solutions for their ETF in Russia.

The MVIS Global Video Gaming & eSports Index (ticker: MVESPO) tracks the performance of the global companies which generate at least 50% of their revenues from the video gaming and eSports sector. These companies may include those that develop video games and related software/hardware, streaming services, and are involved in eSports events. E-Sports is the sport of the digital generation and has grown from having a niche existence to becoming a mass phenomenon that is followed by millions of viewers on a daily basis via live streaming or in event halls.

"We are pleased to announce the licensing of MVIS Global Video Gaming & eSports Index to FinEx ETFs. This is the first video games and e-sports ETF on the Russian market and will allow Russian investors to invest in the flagship index of the gaming industry," said Josh Kaplan, Global Head of Research & Investment Strategy at MV Index Solutions.

The MVIS Global Video Gaming & eSports Index (ticker: MVESPO) is weighted by free float market capitalisation and is calculated in U.S. Dollar as a price index and a total return net index. Capping factors are applied to avoid overweighting of single index companies. The index is reviewed on a quarterly basis.
