FRANKFURT, Germany (August 23, 2023)  –  MarketVector IndexesTM ("MarketVector") announces the following rule changes for the BlueStar® 5G Communications Index (BFIVG) and the BlueStar® Artificial Intelligence Index (BAIPR) effective with the implementation of the semi-annual review in September 2023.

For the BlueStar® Artificial Intelligence Index (BAIPR):

Component Eligibility:

Non-current index components must have a three-month average-daily-value-traded of at least 5 million USD at the current review and also at the previous two quarters to qualify.

Current index components must have a three-month average-daily-value-traded of at least 2.5 million USD in at least two of the latest three quarters (current review and also at the previous two quarters). In addition, a three-month average-daily-value-traded of at least 3.5 million USD at the current review or one of the previous two quarters.

Component Eligibility:

Non-current index components must have a three-month average-daily-value-traded of at least 2 million USD at the current review and also at the previous two quarters to qualify.

Current index components must have a three-month average-daily-value-traded of at least 1 million USD in at least two of the latest three quarters (current review and also at the previous two quarters). In addition, a three-month average-daily-value-traded of at least 1.5 million USD at the current review or one of the previous two quarters.

Review Schedule:

The index is reviewed semi-annually in June and December.

The index is reviewed semi-annually in March and September and rebalanced on a quarterly basis in March, June, September, and December.

A minimum weight of 0.5% is applied.

Index components are no longer subject to a minimum weight.
